I want to digital scrapbook but it just seems so much harder than I want it to be. I just want to be able to grab and place. Anyone have any favorite programs. I've heard Memory Mixer is good, and of course Adobe Photo Shop but it just seems too complicated for what I want to do
(if I'm wrong let me know and then come give me a tutorial (; ). This page I did on Picasa but it wouldn't let me pull up files of fonts that I have downloaded. Am I just not catching on or is digital scrapbooking really time consuming and difficult to learn? HELP!

I just got memory mixer 2. I havn't used it very much yet, but it has premade pages that you can just put your photos on. My sister has it and she has made way cute pages.
If you want use Heritage Makers. You don't have to do a book you can do it per page. The new pics on my wall I ordered through Heritage Makers and I think they turned out great. Just a thought. Good luck, hope you find something that will work for you. If I find something else I will let you know. --Kirsten
I am right there with you, wanting to do digital scrapbooking but not knowing where to begin and I don't want to spend a lot of money on a program that I might not like. I wish I could do some on a trial period to get the feel. Let me know what you find out.
Heritage Makers-- You create a free account and don't have to pay for your project until you order it. If you want to try it out let me know and I can step you through it. :)
Hi Karen! Thankyou for the comment!! I love being able to see everyone, my how we have changed:)
I found your blog from the highschool website. I graduated in 95 but anyway your heading caught my eye. I felt the same way about digital scrapbooking. I wanted it to be something simple and I found Smilebox. You just go to their website and you can either pay $6/month or yearly and it is sooo easy! The pages are all made up for you and all you do is drag your pictures and then do the journaling. I love it!!
I'm all about the Snapfish or Shutterfly! Way easy and if you get a free account and get your book ready just wait for a coupon and then order that way and they'll put it all together for ya!
I'm trying Memory Makers...I'll let you know if I find any value in it, and if I don't, it may be this year's Christmas present!
